The Physiotherapy Department is committed to providing the highest possible standard of physiotherapy care to all patients and has three private cubicles and a gym area.

The service is run by 3 highly skilled Physiotherapists who are State registered and members of the Charted Society of Physiotherapy and 3 Assistant Physiotherapists.

The objective of the service is to provide excellent Physiotherapy treatment in a professional manner and friendly environment. Our Physiotherapists use mainly manual therapy (mobilization & manipulation), exercise therapy, electrotherapy (ultrasound, interferential, TENS), moist hot packs and cryotherapy (ice application) for treatment.

Patient education is a fundamental part of our treatment in order to encourage and achieve patients’ independence.

The Physiotherapy Department increased their opening times to include Thursday evening and Saturday morning appointments. Since April 2008 patients registered with Bungay Medical Practice needing Physiotherapy treatment have been referred here. This has reduced the amount of travelling time for patients and reduced the average waiting time from seeing their GP to getting an appointment to 7 days.

The department is commissioned by NHS Great Yarmouth & Waveney, patients within this area can be referred directly. Self referrals are also accepted too. We have free parking facilities and we are within walking distance from a main bus route.
